What is RSI?

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is a momentum oscillator that measures the speed and magnitude of price changes. RSI oscillates between 0 and 100, indicating:

RSI < 30:Oversold condition - potential BUY signal
30 < RSI < 70:Normal trading range
RSI > 70:Overbought condition - potential SELL signal

RSI Formula

// RSI Calculation (14-period default)

RS = Average Gain (14) / Average Loss (14)

RSI = 100 - (100 / (1 + RS))

// Trading Signals

BUY_SIGNAL: RSI < 30 AND price bounces

SELL_SIGNAL: RSI > 70 AND price rejects
